The Great Faiths (C/S485) - New Course

Explore the many diverse and positive ways that the main faiths regard humanity, life, the Earth and the afterlife This course, a review of the interaction between the world’s major faiths, will examine Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism. Class notes and suggested discussion questions will be provided at the start of each class. This class is geared towards open and civil discussion, and all religious view will be treated with respect.

Instructor Bob Doyle taught at Frostburg State University for over 40 years and was the Planetarium Director. FSU courses included those on World Religions. He is also a Sunday columnist for the Cumberland Times-News, writing on a wide array of science topics.
