Western Maryland Trauma Summit (DHR573) | Allegany College of Maryland

Adverse Childhood Experiences and other traumatic events don’t just affect an individual child—families, neighborhoods and communities all bear the brunt of these difficult circumstances, which add up over time.  The purpose of the Trauma Summit is to help parents, care givers, educators, the faith based community and human service practitioners build trauma informed approaches across systems and promote resiliency.

**For more information regarding the Trauma summit, please contact Renee Knisley, Executive Director, Local Management Board at 301-784-7060 and/or renee.kniseley@maryland.gov or Christa Snyder, Coordinator, Allegany College of Maryland at 301-784-5530 and/or casnyder@allegany.edu.  To register, please call 301-784-5341.
